Tips to Avoid Jet Lag

If you are on a holiday or business trip the last thing you need is to feel tired or run down tip. But with these several tips to avoid jet lag, you are sure to remain vigilant and ready for your trip.

Keep the same

If you do not travel long, you can usually avoid jet lag by sticking to your usual routine. Keep Your Clock is your “home” time and just do what you normally eat at home, sleep, exercise, etc. Your body will not even notice that chance if you do this, and it will adjust without any problems on the way home.

Sleeping like a baby

When traveling outside your normal time zone, you want to try to sleep, to keep normal. And while you may have problems at first, try to get the same number of hours of sleep per night. This will drop your body into a new rhythm to help: when you’re away. Even if you can not fall asleep immediately try to get into bed and close your eyes until you fall asleep. At some point your body is the key and you’ll sleep all you need.

Fill yourself up

Several times in the jet lag by dehydration can aggravate your trip or if you run it on the plane. To fight against what you want to make sure you drink a lot, like you, water and juice travel in particular. Alcohol can dry out the body, it should be avoided if you can. And if you expected to drink at a business function, just follow each glass with a hunter of the water.

Find the rhythm

When you go into areas where the weather will change significantly, you want your clock when you arrive there and start to adjust the following local time. You want to eat if you eat properly, sleep when it gets dark, etc.  By changing the routine you used to the new timetable directly, you can help compensate for jet lag before it starts. Follow the days and hours of darkness to further customize your daily rhythm.

When you arrive

One of the best ways to avoid jet lag is to do a form of perception when you arrive at your destination. This can be as simple as a foot or a bit of gymnastics to your hotel room. Got a few jumping jacks to get your heart pumping and you start exploring the city. If your body is exercise, it can “bank” extra energy and help you flexibly to changing light conditions.

If you can not sleep

If all else fails, you can try a sleeping pill to get your body while sleeping again. Normally this is not recommended, but if you are on a long journey, or if you often spend time zones, a sleep aid to help some rest during the day to alert.
