Everybody knows that Venice is one of the most important tourist city in the world. Each year about 19 million tourists visit this fascinating city on the water and the number is steadily rising. In Venice there are many beautiful places that everyone (Piazza San Marco, Rialto, Accademia know …) but not when your first time here or you just want to stay another, you may search for more news, less is known and why not, the city also less expensive.

So how can you visit this huge piece of art without wasting our time in the big attractions of this city? A very good idea if you travel by airplane, you take the bus to Piazzale Roma (bus station in Venice) and there you can buy a map of the city of Nice in the ACTV office (Transport Company of Venice). This card is cheap, very well done and conteins much useful information, such as roads, all with the vaporetto water bus to Venice. As always, if I can recommend something, is that if you want to understand this city has to be on foot. Just a walk that you can see, the best place in Venice without surrounding thousands of visitors.

The best places for this tour are definitely Sestiere Celestia or Sestiere Giardini (sestieri Venetians blocks). Celestia is between Rialto and Arsenal, the site of the former Republic of Venice. It is a very nice place where you can spend some time of rest. Giardini is the block where the Biennale art exhibition in Venice is known that every two years.

And if I lose? This is not a problem! You’ll find many people who can help you can ask citizens or students (in Venice there is a very important University Ca ‘Foscari, the first Italian University for Languages of the East) in the right direction and some suggestions of good restaurants and a Bar, where you can enjoy a splash “(white wine, Aperol and soda) or a Bellini (Venetian cocktail made of white wine and peach juice).
